Hidayah Milik Allah

A272

Berhabuk!

Surah Al Hadiid (57:20 & 21)

Saddaqallahul 'azim..
Renung-renungkan dan selamat beramal..

Ps: Next entry will be coming soon, hopefully in the nearest time. So much in my brain that I want to spit it all out but seems like time is envy with me.

Your life is hard, compare to what?

Have you ever said to yourself that you had a suck life or hard life? But wait, have you ever think what does it feels when you wake up from one-eye-open sleep, the next thing you’re awake by an explosion of a bomb next door?

Have you ever think how does it feels when other kids are playing hide and seek while you have to hide from real enemy, soldiers and armies are everywhere holding an M-16 ‘passing candy and sweets’?

Have you ever wake up and find there’s nothing in your kitchen for breakfast and you said you’re starving to death. But do you realize that some people somewhere around the world don’t even have kitchen to cook, what’s more food?

You’re about to go to work but you’re complaining that you don’t have any cloth to wear when your wardrobe is overflow with pashmina, peau de soie and khakis that you don’t even remember having one? Thousands of people out there don’t even have limbs to be qualified to have one. People, millions out there can’t afford to buy fabrics, you call yourself having hard life? Sorry, can’t hear you, confusing with your life?

In the middle of congested traffic on the way to an important meeting, your car breakdown. You blaspheme and swear your driver. Is it his fault that your car fails? Ever cross your mind the less unfortunate having had to take a bus ride to get to office or maybe rides? Or worse, having to cross rivers and mud just to feed mouths at home?

If I’m about to write thousands of have-you-ever questions, it’ll take me forever to list them down. The ultimate criterion is thank Allah for all what He’d be giving you. Seek for happiness for happiness doesn’t come by itself and the rest, let Him do His part.

A286

On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Greenest House

A red house made of red bricks,
A blue house made of blue bricks,
What a green house made of?

Actually none of the phrases above related to what I'm gonna discuss. Ahaha. This is what I learnt from The World Greenest Homes channel. It says that Greenest house should be sustainable, eco-friendly with the touch of clever engineering.

Use the technology but don’t make it such a big issue. Minimize the capacity of area with maximum exploitation of space. That is genius.

When you have kids, little kids, design your house within that situation. When they grow big, the design of the house should be re-thinking for the situation is no longer the same. Their needs, their environment, and their perspective of life are totally differ.  But I guess a few of sentimental and aesthetic value should be remained so when they have downside, they’ll reminisce back the memories, they gain their strength back.

To be continued…

Malaysia Good Design Mark Award Evaluation

It’s been quite a long time since I been busy with my field of work. I haven’t had much time to write as I’m the project leader of the MRM Award, loads of preparation to be arranged, presentation and few other stuffs to take care of.

Okay, maybe you're wondering what is Malaysia Good Design Mark (MGDM) Award, right? Malaysia Good Design Mark is a design recognition programme by the Malaysian Government under the Malaysia Design Council. It will be awarded to good design and quality products. This award recognises the efforts of the industry sector in the research and development of new products towards making Malaysia as one of the main contributors in technology development and global economic advancement.

So, the day arrived, and everything went well almost like what I’ve planned. Almost, but it’s better than what I expected. Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah. Among of all the panel of judges were all gentlemen, none of them are ladies, which scares me a lil’ bit since I was the only woman to present the products but that is not really my concern. What I concern the most is the questions the panel threw at me for they seemed very technical-engineering people, and they are. I thought the Q&A session last only five minutes but it prolong like more than half an hour. Luckily GM and Technical Head of Department were there to help me answer all those IDK questions.

Later on we went to take the factory tour and straight to the selected site to truly evaluate the play structure.
Evaluating....

My design.. Tadaaaa

Elaborating design in middle of gentlemen

The panels of the judges were happened to be my lecturers’ lecturers. At first they seem so solemn and not fun but after mingle at the site, when I had the chance to explain about my product that I designed and represent my other colleague’s product, I can say that they’re cool. They even gimme witty and cute ideas on designing new products. The bottom line is, I learnt a LOT that day. And I thank Allah zillion times that the evaluation session went amazing! Hopefully those products in the running of MGDM Award will be winning by us next year, Insya Allah.

The rest of day, let me keep it in my box of memory. *grinning big*

New Year 1432H!

It’s New Year of 1432H. My determination for this year is quite a bunch but let me just keep that in mind or my manual diary. I have words of Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H that I would love very much to share with you,

Therefore, resolve your determination, stick to it/them, achieve it in any ways for there are always the other way around to succeed, within His blessings and pleasure. Happy New Years folks!

Practice what you Preach

The entry this time is specially for me myself. I know I've been writing about matters that lead to people say "how far would she practice what she'd been expound?" Thus, this sermon is especially for myself to remember all those what I have written.

I'm urging to all the preachers out there to do the same so we have a better world to live on. The preachers should first do what they've sermon and homily so that others will follow and believe that they will find the virtue in oneself and experience the beautiful side the unseen.

(Maybe you'll find this book not related to the topic but somehow when you think deep and thoroughly, you'll find it's connected. Think!)

Wallahu'alam..
Lets remind each other~

Nikmat Atau Musibah Tetap Dikira Nikmat

A027

Wallahu'alam...

Cat's fate

I have a lot of cats back then, but there’re only 3 left. Few weeks back, when it rains cats and dogs, my 7-year-old cat, sitting on the back of the car tyre. Suddenly, my dad started the engine and role back to fetch my mom, and unpurposely role back along the cat! Splat! (Err, whatever the sound is, I don’t know cause I’m not there). Miraculously, he didn’t die, he survive but with the bottom part paralyzed. How sad.

My parents brought him to vet and the doc giving them 2 opts, to put him to sleep or to treat him real intensive. For 7-years-stay-together-and-loyal, plus with the feeling guilty of my dad, they decided to take care of them really good. It’s my sis favorite cat though. But in this case I was thinking not to torture him anymore because he’s suffering real bad.

He poops fluid and the smell is awful. I really feel sorry, seriously sorry for him, but I cannot say much. I’ve suggested them to put him to sleep but they say it’s like killing him. But I think they’re much crueler for letting him suffering for a long time. You guys are killing him slowly, that’s ruthless.

What do you think? What should I do?

Sedangkan burung-burung pun bertasbih.....

As I was reading The Holy Quran, I was astonish by the verse 18 & 19 of surah Saad,
A018
A019

It was We that made the hills declare, in unison with him, Our Praises, at eventide and at break of day, And the birds gathered (in assemblies): all with him did turn (to Allah)”

The birds even praises Him, why wouldn’t we, as human beings, have brains to think and judge, disobey and forget Him most of the time, yet turn to Him only when facing predicaments in life? Surah Adz-zariat of verse 56,
A056

“I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.”

Serve in this contacts not necessarily 5 prayers day and night and praise to Him but as well as working, cooking, and every good deed as long as the intention is to seek for His pleasure.. May we always be in His blessings. Amin.

Wallahu'alam..
Reminder for myself.

Persona

It’s 11.30pm and I just reach home from office but I couldn’t help myself from writing another entry as I’ve just learnt something, no, actually I knew it long ago but now I’m convinced by evidences.

I was told, I’ve read, been there, done that about not to judge a book by its cover and couldn’t agree more on that idiom. Literally, it is true not to judge a book by its cover but through its content depending on how and what you judge. Interpret it yourself because my concern is not about book.

I’ve met a lot of people who is so typically having mind set that ladies wearing hijab is good and ladies who didn’t wear hijab is vise versa. Who are you to conclude as such? Who are you to decide whether a person belongs to hell or heaven? After all, you just don’t know what he or she went through. If it’s true that the ladies who don’t wear hijab are immoral, why should other share some sin due to her wrongdoings? I’m not saying that I’m sin-proof kind of person but I try not to involve in such malicious gossips.

I have friends who wear hijab, and few not yet wearing it (I pray that they’ll open their heart to wear it without any enforcement by anyone accept Allah). It happens to me that a few of my friends have better attitude and very good hearts compare to those who cover thier heads up. When asked, they said that “I’m not ready to cover my head but I know it’s a sin, thus I’m not going to make any more sin”. And I was thinking like ‘so those who veiled up must come up with theory as I’m good enough, I wear head scarf and better than those who don’t, so I’m a sin-proof’. Huh? Again, it’s Allah who can judge and have the righteous to label you either you’re good or bad in person.

I’m not urging ladies out there to uncover your head but it seems like people wearing hijab not because it’s explicitly stated in Quran or it’s an observance of Allah, but more towards fashion and trend. Tendencies to follow current style without understanding the meaning of wearing it and how important to cover up all the aurah are higher than to know the basic or having knowledge to do so. Plus, only few who cover their aurah thoroughly, some even wear T-shirt. Arms and neck should be covered completely. ::batas-aurat-wanita::

Women out there, who wear hijab, but forget to wear virtue demeanor, why don’t you making hijab as veil to bad attitude? Put barriers towards yourself like ‘I’m wearing hijab, I should show better persona than those who are not wearing hijab’ etc. (I’m reminding myself as well) If I want to state all the worthiness of wearing hijab, it took pages. You can google them yourself.

Ps: please have no offence towards what I wrote because I’m not stating all of them who wear hijab, I’m saying just a few. And I’m not putting into words that women who don’t cover their heads up is better than those who did. To those who cover up and have beautiful demeanor, congratulations and keep it up. To those who not yet wearing it, may Allah show you the path towards better passage to heaven. Peace.

A031

And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.

Pinjaman

Having conversation with neighbor next door last two nights was so much informative. We talk about a lot of things, from her kids’ lives to her work job scopes. Although the difference of our ages is less more 10 years, but we conversate pretty well. Almost 2 hours chatting, I was attracted to one topic which only last about 5 final minutes of meaningful conversation that lead me to write for the next entry – pinjaman or LOAN.

Not to brag about housing loan or financial loan, but more to loan as human being, what God, Allah almighty had and has lent, or still lending us. We, you and they, me, all of us, cats and pets, fish in the sea, birds on trees, millions other creatures on this planet – is being lent by Allah.

She said to me, “Nuha, kita tak payah lah nak berlagak dengan apa yang kita ada, anak ke, harta ke, pangkat and all, semua tu Allah yang punya. Kalau Allah nak tarik balik, kita nak cakap apa kan?  Kadang-kadang bila Kak Nisha tengok anak-anak sebelum tidur rasa sebak dan terfikir, kalaulah aku pergi dulu, siapa nak jaga anak-anak? Atau kalau mereka pergi dulu, macam mana pulak? Dah memang Allah pinjamkan kat kita, Dia yang punya, menangis pun tak guna…..”
We should bear in mind that what we have, parents, siblings, husband, wife, kids, grandkids etc. are not ours, they are immortal, they even can disappear or die, if God willing. Even, too, our health, or part of our body will be taken back, as we grow grays, eyesight, hearing, etc. they all will decay gradually.

Thus, we do not have to blow one’s own horn or sing one’s own praises about what we have, wealth, health, family, positions or achievements you’ve scored. Anytime all those leisure will be retracted sooner or later, because initially, it’s all coming back to Him. Let say, you’re the most brightest son in the family, genius among the students, best workers in the industry, and you’re snobbish though and if Allah the Most Rightful, wanna show His righteousness, in split second He can make you lost your memory. What you left? Nothing. Might be you don’t even recognize your own mother.

Therefore, appreciate what we have today, embrace the people around us without neglecting those who are less fortunate and walk down to earth with a humble heart, knowing Allah is almighty and Most Merciful is always watching us.
Thank you Allah, Alhamdulillah – all praises to Allah.

Karma Matters

Hi Karma, I believe in you. That's what Allah has stated in Quran, I don't remember what verse in which surah but I've once read that thou will get what you've done. Speaking about Karma, wallahu 'alam, just yesterday I've been paid, cash, by Him, seriously, I have to pay in cash due to what I've done that morning, later the very evening its a payback time.

I was driving back home and when I was about to take over a car, front part of my car 'kiss' the back part of an indian car. I was thinking, OMG, what have I done?!! I thought he or they will let me go, but of course, they asked me to pull over, and worst come to worst they are 5, yes, 5 indian guys and I'm alone with cell phone left at home. Man, this is terrible. I'm afraid that they'll do something bad so I just pull over and confront to them that I am guilty. And to my surprise, they're cool, I mean of course they quite upset about it but for that circumstance, they're actually cool. The guy who drove even offer me his cell phone for me to call my parents. Unfortunately, I didn't remember those important contact numbers, which is very dangerous of me if things like this happen.

He then called his father to come over to the scene, and his father also cool.
I was having negotiation with them and suddenly, a malay man pull over to check up what was happening cause I was the only girl, very petite, surrounded around by 8 indian guys and maybe looking frighten. But actually I was cool, nothing goes wrong until that man-out-of-nowhere come interrupt. I reckon he's about to help me, but instead, he make things complicated, chaos! At first he had feud with one big indian, very big almost like a thug, a young one. I was like "hello, why are you acting such a kid? And who asked you to interrupt in my arbitration? D'uh!"

Then the indian father asked all of us to move to an open space because the MALAY GUY'S CAR was blocking the traffic! D'uh again. See, what does he bring? More troubles than help. I guess he just wanna be seen as heroic figure in the fuss. After settling at the open space, I agree to pay the indian father 100 bucks or less, and he have no problem with it cause the scratch is not to bad plus the car is quite old, 80 bucks is just enough but I have 100 in cash, so we had an agreement there. Suddenly, this malay guy said that the damage is costs about 150 bucks! What??! You're suppose to help me here, not adding the burden! Then I took out 100 and, he accidently saw my other 20 bucks and asked me to pay another 20 to the owner of the car! *sigh* He then take out his 30 bucks to give to the owner of the car. Why? Again, heroic, remember? Whatever~ Later, unexpectedly, he said "you owe me this 30 bucks". What????? I didn't asked you to help me! I didn't asked you to interrupt any of this fuss. Who is in the first place to intervene in? No way man, I won't be calling you nor paying back your money.

Back home I reminisce back what wrong have I done? What cause all this chaotic? I call best friend of mine, I told him what happened to me, and then, snap! It begins when this morning while driving to my office, unintentionally I scratch a Merce's back door. I didn't mean like I was hit(scratch) and run him but it's my way, and we drove off without him asking me to pull over or what. But maybe later when he get out of car, he curse me, I don't know. It's a Merce, what do you expect? Even though a lil scratch but still, it's a Merce.

And since that moment on, I now solaced what had happen. I just wish that Allah had arrange something better for me. Insya Allah..
Something to learn: Don't be snobbish (I say that I'm snobbish because I try to overtake the car, when I have nothing to chase. I mean, why the rush? Just go slow and steady. Maybe I wanna show that I can drive fast, huh! ::kinda upset with myself::)

Let us took a moment to replenish oneself with this verse of Quran:

A037
"Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height"

Why Now?

My best of friend had suggest me to write blog long ago, but I don't see the need or maybe just don't have much time to write, the list of excuses are countless. Now that I have so many things in my mind and I thought of sharing them, plus I just love an educated conversation/ discussion, thus, here I am, writing a blog.
I used to have facebook account, but I feel like it makes no sense of me having one because my work keep on stalled due to the addiction of wanna keep the track on. Although I am not an FB addict, but still those few minutes of time I spent on those pages was sooo~ valuable to be wasted on such things. In addition, as a muslim, I shall be responsible for the money that my company have paid for me to work for them. So, too, I'm afraid that I commit more sins while 'facebooking'. Well, you just don't know how your comment will hurt someone's feeling or maybe, just maybe, your post at someone's wall, or at your wall might trigger a slander. It's not that I'm saying that it's wrong to have an FB account, it's just that you really have to be careful with what you're typing and what you're hearing & seeing. I still, do have the account, but inactive one, so that I don't lose contact with my extensive acquaintance since I distribute my phone number to only selected friends and associates, they can just send me PM or simply write on my wall. I track them using email, without having to signing in.
Okay, you might just don't know how I can 'mumble' in writing(but I can't really speak fluently), which sometimes I feel like can't stop it. Lets get back to 'Why Now?', yeah, why now? Better late than never right? I hope by writing blog, I can improve more on myself(especially by reading a lot so that I have thousands of input to spread on this 'sheet of papers') and so that I have better things to do other than loafing around. Maybe, just maybe, I can write a book sooner or later. I really hope that I continuously writing good ideas and information to be well-shared with this beautiful world.

Wait for my next entry for now I have to back off to allow myself to be with god, Allah for Asar prayer.
=)
