Enthusiasm to strive

Assalamualaikum dear readers.

Please forgive me for being idle quite a while. These are the months of the busiest months of my life, nothing but work, in a sense. Not to say I enjoy being in this state that I scribble this down, but somehow I have to jot down what's on my mind so that maybe someday I can refer to this tidbit whenever I feel demoralized.

Yesterday was a very challenging day for me as my team and I were competing(healthily) with 2 other teams to come out of a design each, to qualify to be in a proposal tender. To make long story short, I have to do the floor plan layout incorporated with the design. I try to do it as detail as possible and later on found out that I mistakenly do the wrong layout which has not been updated. I haven't sleep merely two days. My head is almost in a facet of daze. Time is running out. I was cursing and panicking inside but acting cool. With a stress face. I was about to breakdown and cry but I said to myself there's no use of me to do so or curse whatsoever and I started calling for Him. I don't know somehow,  what force or magic it is when you chant or ask for His help (if you have good relationship with Him), He'll grant your wishes or at the very least, give you the strength to move on, to push you when things seem not to be feasible and everything is not right.

Some might not have an idea what am I scribbling about, some may say this is common but when you're in my shoes, the feel is very different.  All you wanna do is leave the desk (or even worst, the body) and get lost. But what makes me stay strong is because I believe Allah is there to sort this mess out and this is my responsibility to get it done. I take this accountability very seriously and this is what I should practice in everyday basis.

The story doesn't end there. Later that night, I forgot to do the mood board. I was assigned to do it a day before but I totally forget it until I have a few more hours before midnight. I was still in the office. Sigh. And again I said to myself, you can do this, this is easier than that morning. And again with the help of Allah,  I finally managed to design a mood board. I haven't come across a mood board. That was my first time. Lol. Silly me. It turns out that actually it is very easy when you're in the mood.  Lesson learned. Always, always, always psych yourself up when you seem to be facing a problem.

I hope I can remember this whenever I encounter this kind of circumstances in future.
Till then. Xoxo.
Assalamualaikum.
