Your life is hard, compare to what?

Have you ever said to yourself that you had a suck life or hard life? But wait, have you ever think what does it feels when you wake up from one-eye-open sleep, the next thing you’re awake by an explosion of a bomb next door?

Have you ever think how does it feels when other kids are playing hide and seek while you have to hide from real enemy, soldiers and armies are everywhere holding an M-16 ‘passing candy and sweets’?

Have you ever wake up and find there’s nothing in your kitchen for breakfast and you said you’re starving to death. But do you realize that some people somewhere around the world don’t even have kitchen to cook, what’s more food?

You’re about to go to work but you’re complaining that you don’t have any cloth to wear when your wardrobe is overflow with pashmina, peau de soie and khakis that you don’t even remember having one? Thousands of people out there don’t even have limbs to be qualified to have one. People, millions out there can’t afford to buy fabrics, you call yourself having hard life? Sorry, can’t hear you, confusing with your life?

In the middle of congested traffic on the way to an important meeting, your car breakdown. You blaspheme and swear your driver. Is it his fault that your car fails? Ever cross your mind the less unfortunate having had to take a bus ride to get to office or maybe rides? Or worse, having to cross rivers and mud just to feed mouths at home?

If I’m about to write thousands of have-you-ever questions, it’ll take me forever to list them down. The ultimate criterion is thank Allah for all what He’d be giving you. Seek for happiness for happiness doesn’t come by itself and the rest, let Him do His part.

On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Wallahu'alam..
Also a reminder for myself.

  4. Yeah, sometimes we just forget how lucky and fortunate we are. Its sometimes really hard to be grateful. Why? Ask yourself. Hopefully this coming new year, we change to a better person. Amin..
