.:New Zealand Trip:.

Assalam dear readers,

When was the last time I wrote? Ah, forget it. Lol.
Anyway, last few months (read: last year because this post had been in my draft for ages!) I had an amazing trip to New Zealand. If there is a word beyond amazing, I would have used it. Seriously.

Yep, I finally got the chance to go to my "dreamland". I always love to dream to be able to visit this Kiwi country and to live the dream is the best thing EVER happened in my whole life, so far. Yes, way much better than best from the trip to Paris! Of course, because I appreciate nature more than just a busy-life city. And for those, I am so thankful, always.

It was such a wonderful experience that I wish I could go there again , even though I only cover the North island of the land of long white cloud (Aotearoa, the name given by Maori).

It started when my sister and I had a conversation that she wanted to go to New Zealand but not having a travel buddy and actually I was feeling the same thing too! She said she can get accommodations easily since she has a bunch of New Zealander friends (her company HQ is in NZ) so we were excitedly without thinking twice straight away go and book for the flight tickets. I asked her to ask around among her friends checking whether we can stay a night or two ( and so we can have someone around to show us about NZ) but ended up she couldn't find any since the places we intend to go was quite far from their house. But anyway, this is a good thing that I know I need to do a lot of homework and research in order for me to make this trip unforgettable one. From that moment, I decided to plan everything from the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, activities et Cetera. A lot of amendments were made during the 'construction' of the trip but Alhamdulillah things turned out greater than we expected and planned. Alhamdulillah. If there is any word showing how gratitude I am towards Allah, it should be used frequently.

Hamurana Spring; the most serene place I've ever seen
Just like heaven!
Later, I'll tell you the details. Maybe in the next entry. Tak tahu tahun bila lol

How I wish

I wish I'd never met him
I wish I'd never knew him
I wish we never bumped into each other
I wish things would've happened so differently
I wish our path never crossed

I wish I'd never have to write this.

But... Allah's plans is beyond my wishes.
Every cloud has it's silver lining.
May Allah ease my burden.

Still, I wish I'd never have to write this.

Trip to Paris, In Eid

Reading the title alone has excite you so much, isn't it? Yeah, me too! I don't even know where to start! Haha

Let's start with Assalamualaikum, dear readers ;)

It was during the 3rd of Eidul fitri (but now it's Eidul Adha already! Yea, I know, right?) that my family and I aboard the plane (well, forgive me for being too 'Nuha' to write this entry) This trip was so-called not-planned-well-planned-enough vacation as the time is so perfect for me to leave all my sorrow for awhile.

Okay, let me warn you that this entry will not be full of words but the pictures, lots of pictures mostly. Enjoy!
The journey took at least 12 hours non-stop before we reach the destination. But it was worth it because the flight was so smooth and the service was excellent. By the way, we chose MAS flight, MH021, best cabin crew in the world. *wink*

12 Hours Journey! Phew!
Almost there, baby!

I can only tune in to 1 movie, and the next thing I know is  the flight is ready to land. (^^,)">
We're so lucky that we have a friend over there

Yes, That's one of my ex-schoolmate bought for us grilled hippopotamus. Euw. Just kidding. Lol. If you can see, there is a restaurant behind him labelled "GRILLED HIPPOPOTAMUS". NO, he's not going to treat us that grilled hippo. Wouldn't it be cruel? For the hippo? Hahaha.
Anyway, it's roasted chicken. Oh, not one whole bird, but two! And they're super yummy! Probably the best I ever tasted.
While waiting the train to our apartment.
The Apartment.

Later that evening, we went to see Iron Lady.

Hello there! Hellooooo Eiffel!

Me with part of the 'troopers'

Haris and Mother
An evening with Iron Lady ;)

Well, that's a wrap for that day, Just look at everyone's faces. *yawn*

Till then,
See ya in part 2, which, I don't know when.
Lol.

These words...

May peace be upon you, dear readers.

I would like to share with you these impeccable words, though those were not mine.
Those words are solely from one of my favorite idol, Ustazah Norhafizah Musa.

UNIVERSITI KEHIDUPAN"

Till the 'pen' down again.
Thanks for reading.

Jangan malas! Lazy is not accepted

My oh my, how time flies. I totally lost in my own world. How to write in this blog anymore? Can somebody tell me cause I no longer know how. haha. Just kidding. Well, well. First of all, assalamualaikum. No, I'm not going to apologize for being idle, cliche. Lol.

There are a LOT of things going on lately that I can't, I don't even have time for myself. Yes, I am a bad time manager. I would like to share about my experiences during my crucial time handling big projects. (Actually I'm sharing with future me. Lol)

Take a deep breath. My, oh my! I don't know where to start. Y___Y

*Bear in mind that my job requires a lot of detailing. D'uh~!

The keyword is, JANGAN MALAS! I used to take things easy but dealing with Oil and Gas companies like Petronas, Emerson and Alstom really taught me not to simply put things aside. I don't know, should I call this as bad luck? But I'd rather call it best teachers. Enough with the introduction, here comes the critical part;

MLNG - this project is a project that I take over from a colleague who had an accident last year. He'd on medical leave for about one month. When he came back to the office, I was so arrogant not to hand his project back and tadaaa, heaps of trouble awaits me. Nevertheless, that's not really an issue. The thing is, I don't really study the case. The proposal itself took about 9 revisions, what more when it comes to the approval drawings, it's 15 already! (and counting)
The sales person another factor. Lets not talk about their job scope and proceed with mine.

In the first place, I should've ask my colleague what is the special requirement and specifications for this project. But I didn't. I thought the information given by PIC is enough. But it wasn't. And resulting me have to do double triple double up the work.

Not checking the Mechanical Constructional Drawing (MCD) have resulting me:

  • Rework crucial parts
  • write few types of reports
  • lots of meetings (=_=)" which slowing down a lot of process

ALSTOM - I thought I'd checked the MCD right but I missed out a little (not so little, though) details. The access panels should be double leaves swing but instead factory only produce single leaf swing type. It might perceived simple but it wasn't! It was written in the specifications.
ALSTOM specifications! I have to study page by page =__="
See the red 'circle'? The result of not checking the MCD thoroughly. =_="
You might not see the issue, but please refer to the disclaimer*
See? We even have WhatsApp groups to update
 one another pertaining the projects

Wow, I never thought it gonna be a full 'report'. Lol.

Dear future me,
Please take note.

Regards,
