The Best of Friends

This poem goes to my dear friend

The best of friends,
are fellow travelers,
on the road of life

The best of friends,
change and grow,
with each other,
and learn,
through one another's,
experiences and lessons.

The best of friends can share,
the most insignificant,
and the most shining parts,
of themselves,
with the same degree,
of joy and openness.

The best of friends,
are friends for a lifetime-
like you and me.
